COVID Protocols when you come for a visit

Yes, we are open! We continue to operate under the conditions permitted by the province; however it does not mean we are back to business as usual.

We continue to practice all the safety measures we have put in place for the protection of you and our staff. At present, aside from staff, we are allowing only one patient and their accompanying human into the clinic at a time for patient drop-off and pick-up. In order to continue with physical distancing, we are scheduling specific times for every client to come to the hospital. If you have experienced any COVID symptoms, or have been in contact with somebody who has tested positive, please refrain from coming to the clinic – we will do our best to accommodate you in other ways.

When you come to the clinic…

In accordance with city and provincial by-laws, masks are required inside the clinic. One person is allowed in the reception area at a time; please wait until you can enter safely. Our staff will provide additional guidance once you’re inside. At this time, clients will not be allowed into the exam room with their pets, so if you can, please bring your cell-phone, so that the doctor can speak with you during the appointment if required (don’t forget to leave your cell number with the receptionist).

Please stay behind the plexiglass when addressing the receptionist, and follow social-distancing guidelines when in the clinic.

We appreciate your patience and support. We ask that you please be understanding if we cannot meet your requests as rapidly as you have become accustomed to. We are doing our best to meet your needs. If you are concerned for your pets’ well-being, and we are unable to accommodate you, please take your pet to the nearest veterinary emergency clinic.

Tending to your pet, while maintaining the safety of our team, clients and patients, is our top priority.
